Exceptional Healthcare Yuma Az - Exceptional Health Care, a group of Texas-based hospitals, is building a much-needed community hospital in Yuma, and will begin construction on a new facility in March.
Exceptional Healthcare is building its second Arizona facility in Yuma. Phase 1 of the 20,000-square-foot facility will be located in the heart of the community, just off Interstate 8.

In addition, Exceptional Health Care in collaboration with higher level hospitals in the region will be equipped with an air ambulance landing site to ensure the fastest transport of patients requiring higher level care.

In Exceptional Healthcare Facilities, each hospital room will have an overnight stay for a family member, as well as high-level concierge services. The plans include a personal service for meals prepared by a chef, as well as complimentary toiletries, bathrobes and slippers for patients to increase their level of comfort.
The $18 million facility in Yuma is expected to employ between 60 and 100 employees and is expected to be completed in spring 2022.

Bullhead City officials praised the announcement as the hospital will support continued growth in population and amenities in the area.
Construction is scheduled to begin later this year, and the opening is slated for late 2023 or early 2024.
Exceptional Healthcare completed its first hospital project in Arizona last year and opened a 21KSF facility in Maricopa in December. Two additional phases are planned.
