As for the grip part of the frame, borders are the finishing touches that really make dot work pop, and are often the deciding factor in separating low-budget work from high-end work.
Undercutting is the removal of material from under the trigger guard and where the main grip or magwell area meets. This is where the middle finger is. Removing the material in this area allows the user to have a higher angle and better purchase on this grip. Currently, the GST-9 uses a single sub and comes out of the box.
Double stippling is probably the most popular, but it can also be the most dangerous if you don't use the services of a reputable stippler.
